The young Sergey not only imagines how he would stage Shakespeare, Gozzi or Aristophanes; he also comes up with his own stories. One of them is the farce “Pierrot”s Million.” Pierrot suddenly inherits a million. But a suspicious notary appears; then a mass of others who have claims for the inheritance. Everyone fools the poor Pierrot. This plot from 1917 is a satirical comedy of manners in the spirit of Moliere. It is not by chance that some of the captions were made in French.
