The exhibition is dedicated to revealing the major building blocks of the great artist’s life: his active dialogue with the outside world and his private life.
The first section of the exhibition — “Tchaikovsky’s World” — focuses on the personality of the composer, his character, the peculiarities of his everyday life and communication with relatives. The second section — “Tchaikovsky and the World” — centers around the composer’s musical, artistic and social circles.
The exhibition displays Tchaikovsky’s handwritten heritage: scores of his works and literary manuscripts. In addition, the objects of special interest are the composer’s Bible, which was his main reference book; an old bookcase that he moved from apartment to apartment; a cigarette case gifted by his brother Modest, and a silver pen.
Exhibits are marked with AR stickers for identification purposes.
