Many times paintings by Anastasia Mokrousova participated in exhibitions at the Urazovo Local History Museum. She dedicated one of her exhibitions to the works of the Russian poet Sergey Yesenin.

Russian winter gives us landscapes of incredible beauty, filled with snow-white, piercing purity. The snowy expanses of Russia at all times have been and remain a source of inspiration for Russian artists. The winter landscape was portrayed by the artist in her painting ‘Winter”s Fairy-Tale’. It can be seen how snow lies with a soft cap on the branches of the trees, and it has not yet become heavy from frequent thaws. A winter road runs between the trees, and dried meadow grass peeps through the shallow snow. In the distance, on the hills, areas not covered by snow are still visible, this suggests that, after all, nature has not completely frozen in winter captivity.

The soft outline of the hills and the snow-covered, snow-white trees convey calmness and harmony to the viewer. The transparent, blue sky portends a frosty day. Using the minimum number of colors, the artist created a three-dimensional painting. She lovingly portrayed her native nature, giving the viewer the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the winter landscape.
