Aronov’s portrait is a half-length portrait of an elderly man, with a slight turn of the body to the right. He is wearing a dark blue suit and a white shirt. On the chest, there is a large number of orders and medals. The background of the canvas is blurry, from light to dark brown. Somewhere ahead, in front of Aronov, there is a light source that illuminates his face, and the glare plays on the wall and creates a play of light and shadow.
