Pyatnitskaya church was located 20-50 m from the shore of the Belozersky Bypass Canal. It was erected on the site of the dilapidated wooden temple in 1791-1795 with the proceeds of fishing on the Beloye Ozero. Two temples were united in Pyatnitskaya Church - a heated one with side-altar in the name of Alexis, the Man of God, and an unheated one in honor of the martyr Paraskeva Friday.
The refectory was shared, with a wooden glazed partition. The parish of the church consisted of the coachmen’s suburb consisting of 38 yards. From 1848, the custom was approved - after the fulfillment of liturgy with a prayer service to make a procession with the icon of the Kazan icon of the Mother of God around the entire village to commemorate the cessation of cattle deaths. After the procession each farmer took the icon to his house, where the prayer service was served with blessing of water, and the house, the courtyard and the whole building were sprinkled with holy water.
The peasants paid 30 rubles of silver per year for the upkeep of the priest, lay vicar and the bell ringer. Along with other revenues – from the sale of candles and prayers - the income did not exceed 214 rubles. Therefore, priests of Pyatnitskaya Church often engaged in crafts for their own upkeep. So the lay vicar Petr Solovyov engaged in the bookbinding, sewing boots and shoes, bell ringer Vasily Lebedev was engaged in firing bricks.
The library of the temple, apart from spiritual books, had up to 30 copies of books of various contents. The original composition of the temple was three-part - a temple and a refectory and a bell tower adjacent to it from the west. The main building was built according to the traditional pattern - above the quadrilateral first tier there was an octagonal second tier. Such a construction was called “octagon placed on quadrangle”. The second tier was crowned by a bell-shaped roof with a delicate head on an octagonal base.
The bell tower was erected in three tiers. The floors in each part of the temple were special: in the temple itself there was a granite baroque one, in the refectory there was a simple double-slope, and in the bell tower there was a cross vault.
The space of the temple was well lit - light penetrated through the eight-sided base of the head, and through the windows of the second tier.
The façade was decorated with sculptured cross-piece, special perches - pilasters – on the corners, and Baroque cross-pieces. Nowadays the refectory and the perch of the temple – the apse - are completely destroyed. Only two layers of the bell tower are preserved. Decorative decoration of the interior is lost.
