The collection of the Valuy Museum of History and Art contains a painting by the artist Yuri Pimenov named ‘Long-distant train to Rome.’
The artist was born in 1903 in Moscow. After graduating from the gymnasium, he studied at VKhUTEMAS (Higher art and technical workshops). His teachers were famous artists Sergey Malyutin, Vladimir Favorsky, and Vadim Falileev.
