There are signatures of the manager and the cashier. In the lower right corner, the year of manufacture of the sample is “1909”. Serial number — WB 366137.
Reverse: the main drawing on the reverse is a portrait of Alexander III in an oval decorated frame, crowned with a crown. There is also an excerpt from the law of November 14, 1897. Watermark: repeated repetitions of the number “25” with the abbreviated word “rub”, located perpendicular to each other and diagonally relative to the banknote. There is also a local watermark duplicating the portrait of Alexander III from the reverse.
Credit notes of this type were put into circulation on June 1, 1909 in addition to the 1898 banknotes and remained a legal means of payment until September 8, 1922. They were issued unchanged (with different signatures and series) under the tsarist, Provisional and Soviet governments, all with the date “1909” indicated. The design is decorated with purple, green and black colors. Banknotes signed “I. Shipov” with series from DY to EY were produced under the Soviet regime. They were printed by the Expedition of procurement of state papers in Petrograd.
