The permanent exposition of the Bryansk Regional Museum of Art presents works reflecting the work of key representatives of artistic life in Russia from the beginning of the 19th century to the end of the 20th century.
The path of fine arts from the romantic and intimate Russian landscape to the avant-garde and socialist realism is represented by the names of Alexei Savrasov, Vasily Polenov, Alexander Gine, Vladimir Makovsky, Alexander Deineka, Aristarkh Lentulov, Alexei Isupov, Pavel Kuznetsov and Vladimir Greenberg.
These works allow the viewer to get acquainted with the main stages in the development of Russian art of this period.
