The exhibition “Remembered Today and Always” is dedicated to the military and labor exploits of the residents of the Kirov region at the rear and at the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. This exhibition was opened in the year of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory and is located in the Museum of Military Glory — a department of the Kirov Regional Museum of Local History.
From 1941 to 1945 more than 600 thousand citizens of Kirov went to the front, almost 250 thousand of them did not return home. The exhibition presents military awards, authentic archival documents and photographs, weapons and military uniform of the inhabitants of the city who were defending their homeland on the front and in the rear. Also, at the exhibition you can see personal items that belonged to the Marshals of the Soviet Union Ivan Konev and Konstantin Vershinin.
