The exhibition includes 41 paintings by talented artists from the Kuzbass region. These works were given to the Exhibition Hall and are now part of its collection.
Here visitors can see works in genres such as scenes from everyday life, portraits and landscape paintings. The artists worked in different professions, but are united by their love for the Kuzbass region and its people, and their wish to depict in paint the most beautiful aspects of their region, and typical and colorful scenes from the lives of the people who live there. Their work is an important contribution to the culture of their country, and forms part of Russia’s cultural heritage.
The organizers of the exhibition aim to publicize the work of these artists from Kemerovo region, and to bring the unique history and culture and striking landscapes of the Kuznetsk region to the attention of a wider audience through the work of the region’s painters.
