The exhibition reveals the life of Borisoglebsk, a chief town of Tambov Governorate at the turn of the 20th century. The exposition includes everyday items, letters, documents, books and memoirs connected with prince Serge Volkonsky (1860-1937) and his family. Much attention is paid to the Decembrist movement. The city photos of the time demonstrating old buildings, churches and streets are exhibited along with the listed items.
