Salary is an overlay decoration on icons covering the entire icon board over a colorful layer, except for several significant elements (usually the face and hands — the so—called personal letter), for which slots are made; a significant type of Russian decorative and applied art.
The icon’s frame is made of a single sheet of metal, with a hammered pattern, gilded, made of brass. In the lower corners and on the sides of the salary there is a floral ornate pattern. In the upper corners there are angels holding a board or a canvas. Western school, the first half of the XIX century. There are inscriptions in the upper left corner “iiL”, in the upper right “HS”, the lower right inscription “1802 Ermakov”.
The framing of the icon is a halo, a halo is attached to the salary with homemade clips. The rays of the halo are broken off.
