Those are items made from gold, silver, semi-precious stones, as well as archeological finds made from bronze, glass, and clay. Their age varies from the 3rd millennium BC to the 14th century AD.

The Jewelry items, armament, horse harness elements, gold and silver plates from the museum’s collection were found on archeological sites in the Rostov region.

The display includes cultic vessels, female temple rings and flasks for aromatic substances, exquisite horse brass ornaments, and decorative tabs which adorned the belts of ancient warriors. The reconstructed sacrificial horse mantle decorated with 10860 elaborately crafted small gold tabs was exhibited in the museums of France, Austria, and Germany.
