Exhibition Russian Classical Art of the 18th — early 20th centuries is located in the house of Ekaterina K. Plotnikova’s merchant estate. The estate represents a historic corner the old town well preserved until today. The canvases are placed in rooms with parquet floors and painted ceilings.
The exhibition starts from the room dedicated to historical persons. The museum collection comprises a dynastic series of portraits of Russian tsars — Ivan the Terrible, Alexey Mikhailovich, and others.
