The exhibition “Relics of the Ivan Goncharov Museum” is dedicated to the writer’s life, as well as the characters from his works. The museum houses portraits of Goncharov’s relatives and close friends, seascapes that used to decorate the walls of the writer’s study, and souvenirs that Ivan Goncharov brought from his trip on board the Pallada frigate.
The collection of the Ivan Goncharov Memorial Centre and Museum also includes Goncharov’s personal belongings, which were donated by the writer’s friends and family members, including the Treygut family which inherited part of Goncharov’s possessions. Apart from that, the visitors will see the illustrations to the novels “Oblomov” and “The Precipice” created by Ilya Glazunov, David Borovsky and many other famous artists.
Exhibits are marked with AR stickers for identification purposes.
