The Ivan Goncharov Memorial Centre and Museum was opened on the day of the writer’s 200th anniversary on June 18, 2012, in Ulyanovsk. The museum was arranged in the house that used to belong to the Goncharov family, where the famous novelist was born and spent his early years.
