The exhibition ‘Along the Streets of the Old Nevyansk Plant’ is dedicated to the history of the metallurgical industry in the Urals, the creation of the Nevyansk plant, and the daily routine of its workers and their families. Here visitors can get acquainted with the biographies of industrialists from the Demidov dynasty, see what equipment was used to mine gold or process various metals, and find out what crafts flourished in Nevyansk in different centuries. Besides, the collection includes everyday items of peasants and factory workers: clothing, household utensils, dishes, furniture. Here you can see the dresses worn by women in Nevyansk, miners' screens for gold sand, a crib, and chests for a wedding dowry.
