The permanent exhibition of the museum of Konstantin Tsiolkovsky tells about the origin and development of Russian cosmonautics. Its theoretical founder is the scientist Konstantin Tsiolkovsky. In the exhibition you can see exhibits related to his name — photos, scientific works, drawings of his inventions and antique everyday items from his childhood.
Also on display are rocket models and a sample of space food, a spacesuit and fragments of spacecraft. It also houses the museum’s first exhibit, a letter from Yuri Gagarin, which he wrote to the countrymen of Konstantin Tsiolkovsky.
