The permanent exhibition “Victory Park — the Symbol of Glory in Everlasting Memory of the Heroes” presents military equipment of the main Armed Forces of the USSR and the Russian Federation: The Ground Forces, Air Force, and Navy. Chronologically, the exhibition is divided into two periods: the Great Patriotic War and the post-war period.
Artillery systems are represented by cannons, howitzers, and mortars. The weapons developed and used during the war include the ZIS-2 and ZIS-3 field cannons, the 21-KM naval artillery gun, and the M-30 and D-1 howitzers. Four multiple rocket launchers are displayed. One of them is a model of the Katyusha combat vehicle.
The main types of armored vehicles are also exhibited, including tanks, self-propelled guns, armored personnel carriers, IFVs (infantry fighting vehicles), and BMDs (airborne combat vehicles). The models of the T-26 and T-70 tanks were assembled mainly from fragments left from the real vehicles.
Various rockets and launchers are also on show: the 9K72 complex, the 8K14 ballistic missile of the 2K6 Luna tactical missile systems based on an amphibious tank, the SM-63-II launcher with the 13D missile.
Aviation equipment is another major focus of the exhibition. It includes examples of various aircraft: the Tu-22KD supersonic missile carrier, the MiG-15, MiG-21, MiG-27M, MiG-31 fighters, the Yak-38 and Su-25 attack aircraft, the Yak-18A and L-29 training aircraft. The Mi-2, Mi-24V and Mi-8T helicopters are also presented.
