The Northern Route is a museum exposition of works by the People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Igoshev. It has paintings from the Northern series dedicated to the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, its nature and people of Yugra. All paintings were created from the 1940s till the late 1990s. Here one can see an early portrait of his father, a pencil portrait of his mother, which was created a little later, images of the northern people and their children created in the mid-20th century, landscapes made in the impressionist manner. Among the exhibit items are the genre paintings with scenes of everyday life of Yugra peoples.
