The ‘Museum Porcelain Workshop’ exhibition contains the collection of porcelain goods made at the main factories of the Novgorod region: the Volkhov Porcelain Factory (later renamed ‘Comintern’), the Bronnitsa Factory (later renamed Porcelain Factory ‘Proletary’), the Gruzinskaya Factory (now known as ‘Krasny Farforist’), and the Bronnitsky Porcelain Factory ‘Vozrozhdenie’, established in 1966.
The collection includes dishes and decorative figurines, which were made in the 19th — 21st centuries. At the exhibition, the visitors can see mass produced items as well as rare examples of dishes painted by hand.
The exhibition presents items by such famous Novgorod masters as Tamara Gavrilova, Vladimir Smolyar, Iosif Kolonistov, Svetlana Weinstein-Mashurina, Vladimir Yatsun, Olga Churakova, Ivan Berdnikov, Marina Andreeva, and others.
