The Military Medical Museum houses the Patriotic Museum Complex “Medicine and the Great Victory”. The exhibition is dedicated to the heroic efforts the doctors made during the Great Patriotic War in saving the wounded on the battlefield, in concentration camps, and besieged Leningrad.
Visitors of the Museum Complex “Medicine and the Great Victory” can find out how civilian and military medicine developed to meet new challenges. The Museum Complex consists of three themed halls: the Museum in Memory of Victims of Nazism, the Peaceful Instruments of Victory Exhibition Area, and the Museum of Siege Medicine. Each section describes the unique nature of medical services under wartime conditions and shows the heroism of the doctors who helped millions of soldiers recover and return to active service.
