Kaliningrad — Konigsberg: bridge over time

This exhibition was created based on the permanent exhibition of the museum. It tells the story of artistic life in the region starting from the art of East Prussia until the work of contemporary Kaliningrad artists. Its main topic — the past and the modern time of the city, which features distinctive marks of different cultures.

The exhibition presents photos from personal archives of Kaliningrad citizens, paintings and graphics by German artists, as well as pieces by migrant authors having moved to the city after World War II.

Among them, one can see well-known classics like Kathe Kollwitz, Lovis Corinth, Heinrich Wolff and many others.

Exhibits are marked with AR stickers for identification purposes.
