The exposition ‘History of Severodvinsk. Second half of the 20th century’ tells the story of how the city lived in the period 1940s–1990s. It traces the history — from the Soviet village of Sudostroy to the modern city, the enthusiasm of the first five-year plans, the hardships of the war years, working days at local enterprises and the achievements of our time.

The exposition is based on personal belongings that were donated to the museum by residents of Severodvinsk. Here you can see photographs of historical buildings, documents and symbols of the era — pennants of socialist competitions and a pioneer horn, a radio receiver and a geometry box, time clock and meat cards — and other things that are now a thing of the past.
