Udmurtia: History and Culture of the Region
#2
The permanent exposition comprises thematic exhibitions that cover the history of the region, which has been home to the Finno-Ugric peoples throughout their history. The ethnic history of Udmurts, Russians, Mari, and Tatars living in the republic is represented in rich collections comprising national costumes, utensils, and many other items that tell a story of their life, customs, rituals, and religious beliefs of the peoples that have inhabited the region.

The exposition covers the course of history and cultural development in Udmurtia from the 6th millennium BC until the early 20th century. Point your smartphone at an exhibit tagged with an AR sticker to learn more about the 40 spectacular display pieces of the exhibition in augmented reality.
