I.A. Bunin museum exhibit is dedicated to his creative path from a simple correspondent for the provincial newspaper ‘Oryol Vestnik’ to a Nobel Prize winner and acknowledged classic of Russian and world literature. The exhibit represents original documents from the family and literary archives of Bunin, portraits and photos of the writer and his friends, manuscripts and diaries, autographs of letters, lifetime editions of books and collected compositions. The museum also exhibits personal belongings of Ivan Alekseevich: a pith helmet in which he travelled to the countries of the East, his pen, inkwell, cigarette holder, smoking pipe, snuff box, briefcase and many others.
