Some archeological finds displayed here were found in the region: the figurines of ‘Paleolithic Venuses’, the skeleton of a mammoth, the skull of a woolly rhinoceros, axes and spearheads dating to the Bronze Age.
Such exhibits as a single-tree log-boat from the settlement of Vschizh mentioned in the Chronicle, temple rings worn by the Radimichi tribe women, and fibula-pins tell us a lot about the culture and traditions of the early Slavs.

The exhibits also include cold weapons of various historical periods, and 16th and 17th century printed books.
