At the exhibition of the Annunciation Cathedral, you can get acquainted with the history of the Orthodox church in Kazan and learn the most important milestones of religious art.
The collection contains Orthodox books from the 16th to the 20th centuries, paintings and cast icons, various crosses, banners and other church objects.
Part of the collection is dedicated to the history of the Kazan Kremlin and the Annunciation Cathedral, as well as to special local relics. The visitor will be able to learn more about the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, see examples of local church architecture in old photographs and models, look at the portraits of archbishops and see the original manuscript of the abbot of the Zilantov Monastery.
