Stanislav Cherchesov made his name playing for Spartak Moscow. He left the club several times only to eventually come back. Today, Stanislav Cherchesov is now the head coach of the Russian national team.

During his school years, Cherchesov was enrolled in a specialized football class, which had the motto: ‘You’ll be fine as long as you play.’ This idea guided him throughout his career, since he played regardless of any injuries or challenges. This took a lot of character.

Many of the titles Cherchesov won were special. He won the last USSR Cup, the last Federations Cup, and the last Austrian Football Bundesliga title in the 20th century. He became a legend in Tirol, an Austrian football club, and an honorary citizen of Innsbruck. He was the first captain of the Russian national team, and now when the 2018 FIFA World Cup lies ahead he serves as its head coach.
