The exhibition features a painting by Yakov Fyodorovich Kapkov who specialized in history paintings, genre scenes, and portraits.
He studied under the guidance of the painter Karl Pavlovich Bryullov who represented late Russian classicism of the first half of the 19th century.
“The Pool of Siloam” by Yakov Kapkov was
transferred to the Pskov Museum from the Museum of the Academy of Arts in 1930.
