State Award of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. The Order of the Star is a five-pointed star. On the front side in the middle part of the star there is a circle with a relief image of the national emblem of the DRA. The Order of the Star was established in 1980. It had three degrees. The last one was awarded in 1992.
