A 2-string kobyz (kyl-kobyz) with a hollowed-out scoop-shaped
body. The outside surface of the pegbox folds
is upholstered with calked brass sheet
with 3 rustling brass pendants.
The instrument was handed over from the East Section of the State Hermitage to St. Petersburg State Museum of Theatre and Music in 1934.
