O.E. Kler Sverdlovsk Regional Ethnography Museum possesses the largest museum collection of the Urals. The museum is located in Yekaterinburg and its branches are located in ten cities of the Sverdlovsk region. It was founded in 1870 and for more than 140 years the museum exhibits have been narrating the history, ethnography, art and nature of the Urals. Its exposition embraces the historical period of more than ten thousand years when the first human being appeared on the eastern slope of the Urals and extends to the present days.
