The Children’s Art Gallery opened in 1990 in the mansion of the 19th-century merchant Ivan Klodt. It hosts excursions, art exhibitions and painting classes for children, and has architecture, design, ceramics and pottery workshops.

Since 2002, the title Exclusive Doll of Klodt’s Mansion unites several collections: European Renaissance in Costume; Baroque; Eclecticism and Art Nouveau; The 16-17th century Russian Nobility Costume of the Pre-Petrine Era and others.

The gallery combines four directions: decorative and applied arts, the culture and way of life of the 19th and 20th centuries, children’s crafts and a garden museum with a lecture centre. The fund of the gallery contains a collection of children’s paintings, graphic and decorative works, tapestry, ceramics from 20 countries of the world.
