The museum’s collection started by Modest Tchaikovsky has turned into one of the biggest collections with over 200 thousand items. The main part of the collection is the collection of P. I. Tchaikovsky which includes original items from the composer’s creative and personal archives, as well as copies and microforms of documents stored in other archives.
