The Victory Museum is a sacred place that symbolizes the nation’s collective memory of the tragic and heroic episodes in the history of our Motherland. The museum is the place where the past meets the present. It brings together all generations of Russian citizens and treasures the memory of the great and terrible war that has touched the lives of every family in our country.
People come here to feel their bonds with the generation of heroes and to pay their respect to everyone who defended their Motherland. The museum is interesting, engaging, and innovative.
Nowadays, the Victory Museum also protects the historical truth, fights against the falsification of history, and the rewriting of the results of important historic decisions and events. The main building of the museum houses the exhibitions titled “The Feat of the Army” and “The Feat of the Nation”, “The Faces of History” photo bank, “The Hall of Historical Truth”, and a series of six unique dioramas depicting the main battles of the Great Patriotic War. The museum also includes exhibitions dedicated to significant memorable days. The outdoor exhibition features one of the largest collections of military machinery in Europe.
The Victory Museum has three regional branches: in Krasnogorsk (the Moscow Region), Rzhev (the Tver Region), and the Kaluga Region. It cooperates with over 250 museums in Russia and the CIS countries that are united by their military history, as well as 30 foreign partners.
