The Robert Rozhdestvensky Museum was opened in 2012 in the Kosikha village, where in 1932 the poet was born. It is located in a renovated building, which earlier functioned as a cinema, but now houses an educational institution, a memorial exhibition and a branch of the State Museum of the History of Literature, Art and Culture of Altai. The museum exhibition is dedicated to the history of the Kosikha village, the relatives of Robert Rozhdestvensky, his first literary steps and the poems and songs that brought him nationwide fame. Many of the poet’s personal belongings were donated to the museum by Robert Rozhdestvensky’s family.
