The Memorial Complex of Glory named after Akhmad Kadyrov was opened on the eve of the 65th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In Russia, it became the third largest museum established to commemorate the Victory. The Complex includes a museum, a park “The Alley of Fame” and monuments, including a monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union Movlid Visaitov.
The Akhmad-Khadzhi Kadyrov Museum is located on the first floor of the main building. The exhibition is dedicated to the life and work of the first President of the Chechen Republic, as well as to the Heroes of the USSR, natives of the Checheno-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
The art gallery which houses works by contemporary Chechen, Ingush, Russian and other artists is located on the second floor. Temporary exhibitions are also held in these halls. On the outside, the building features bas-reliefs with the names of 40 Heroes of the Soviet Union, residents of the Chechen Republic.
