The memorial House-museum of Kosta Levanovich Khetagurov is part of the state budget cultural institution ‘Nation Museum of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania’. The museum contains 491 exhibits: photographs, manuscripts, paintings, and personal items belonging to Kosta Khetagurov, his relatives, and closest associates.
The museum consists of eight halls. In two of them, the original interiors have been recreated, four halls on the second floor are dedicated to the first half of the 20th century, the seventh hall displays the literary exhibition ‘The Life and Works of K. L. Khetagurova’, and the eighth hall is reserved for temporary exhibits.
The museum building was built in 1864 and is now a cultural heritage site. Next to the house-museum, there is a garden with a memorial wooden gazebo.
