A Hundred Years of a Hard-Working Town exhibition is designed and structured to show the life of ordinary people at home and at work.
The Workers’ Settlement at the Tambov Gunpowder Factory was surrounded by country estates and became a place for workers from St. Petersburg and Moscow, as well as peasants from nearby villages. Its history was captured with rare photographs, war-time memorabilia, and works of local craftsmen.
Visitors will also see exhibits linked to important milestones in the town’s history: the construction of the factory, the establishment of the first fire brigade and pioneer units, the development of a drama club and theatre art.
Exhibits are marked with AR stickers for identification purposes.
