The exhibition Russian art. Religious and secular art of 16th — early 20th centuries. It presents artworks created by the Russian artists of 16th — 20th centuries.

The landscape painting section includes works by Savrasov, Ayvazovsky, Vorobyev and other outstanding artists of the genre. Rich collection of portraits is presented by the works of Rokotov, Borovikovsky, Argunov, Tropinin and others. Apart from secular art it showcases icons created at different time periods and in different areas as a separate section.
