Yekaterinburg Museum’s collection of Russian painting and graphics of the 18th — early 20th centuries the gives insight into the main stages in the development of Russian fine art of this period. The museum’s permanent exhibition contains works by such artists of the 18th century as Fedor Rokotov, Andrey Ivanov. Painting of the 19th century is represented by portraits of Ilya Repin, Nikolay Nevrev, historical paintings by Stanislav Rostvorovsky, Vasily Surikov and Bogdan Villevalde, landscapes of the Wanderers Alexei Savrasov, Vasily Polenov, and Isaac Levitan. The works of avant-garde artists Mikhail Larionov, Natalia Goncharova and others, represent the collection of works of artists of the 20th century.
