‘The Romanovs. Oldenburgs. History of Relations’ exhibition was opened in July 2016 in the building of the entourage pavilion. The exposition is based on previously unknown documents and archival materials that allow you to look at the Romanovs — Oldenburgs through the prism of the personal perception of the family. Particular attention is paid to the correspondence of the Oldenburgs with their crowned relatives, the memoirs of Baroness Meyendorff, the diaries of Grand Duchess Olga Aleksandrovna and Grand Duke Konstantin Konstantinovich. The main subject of the show is the general atmosphere of the entire exposition, which is recreated with the help of interior zones: they create the feeling that this is a house where you can still feel the presence of the owners themselves and their distinguished guests.
Exhibits are marked with AR stickers for identification purposes.
