The exhibition of Volgograd Museum of Fine Arts named after I. I. Mashkov consists of the paintings by the Russian artists of the 18th — 20th centuries. The museum houses works of famous Russian painters: Karl Bryullov, Ivan Aivazovsky, Ivan Shishkin, Vladimir Makovsky, Valentin Serov, Konstantin Korovin and others. The exhibition is divided into two parts: the art of the 18th — early 20th centuries and the works by Ilya Mashkov.

In the section dedicated to the art of one of the leaders of the avant-garde association “Jack of Diamonds”, you can see paintings and graphic works by Mashkov, as well as rare archival documents, photographs, and authentic objects from the artist’s studio.
