The exhibition ‘Natural History Museum of Tatarstan’ covers more than four billion years in the history of the planet Earth. Here visitors can see fragments of the Chelyabinsk and Dronino meteorites, find out where and how semi-precious and ornamental stones are mined, what minerals are found on the territory of Tatarstan.
The part of the exhibition is devoted to prehistoric creatures that lived on the planet in different eras. Visitors will learn dinosaurs’ anatomy and what they ate, what ancient ammonites and belemnitida mollusks looked like, which lizards were close relatives of tyrannosaurs, and the ancestors of modern birds and mammals.
