The exposition of the Museum of the Family of Emperor Nicholas II includes more than 900 items. Many of them belonged to the members of the Romanov dynasty themselves — for example, the Manila shawl of Empress Aleksandra Fyodorovna, the perfume of one of the imperial daughters, the balalaika of Tsarevich Aleksey.
Other exhibits are associated with the history of the entire Romanov dynasty. The museum features a bust of Emperor Alexander II, banners of the heirs to the throne, and souvenirs made in honour of the coronation of Nicholas II. Museum guests can also get acquainted with statesmen’s autographs, rare documents and books dedicated to the Romanov dynasty and the history of the colonisation of Siberia.
