The exhibition of the house-museum is dedicated to the life of the Ural writer Dmitry Mamin-Sibiryak and his family. The exhibition was created in 2007 by Moscow artist Avet Tavrizov, as well as by museum staff, including director Nadezhda Kryakunova.
The collection tells about the details of Mamin-Sibiryak’s life, which formed an original artistic world in his texts: hobbies, everyday objects, relationships with family and friends.
The exhibition of the house-museum includes a collection of minerals collected by the writer, his birch bark snuffbox, chest for manuscripts, congratulatory letters and photographs. Some of the items tell about the writer’s only daughter, Yelena Mamina, who wrote poetry and painted watercolors. Here, one can see her works and a notebook with handwritten texts.
