The exhibition is devoted to the most interesting aspects of the life of the Yeniseysk Governorate in the 19th and 20th centuries. The governorate was formed in 1822 and united the territory along the Yenisei River with its center in Krasnoyarsk. The borders of the Yeniseysk Governorate almost completely correspond to the borders of the Krasnoyarsk Territory formed in 1934. The exhibition reveals the history of the development of folk crafts, trades, and industry, as well as the life and fate of famous citizens: owners of gold mines, governors, artists, and merchants, thanks to whom Krasnoyarsk developed and grew in the past centuries. In addition, the exhibition allows one to learn more about management, culture, education, and everyday life in the Yeniseysk Governorate. The exhibits give an insight into the economic development of the Prieniseysk Siberia, the first theater, cinema, and the city park of Krasnoyarsk, and many other significant places and events.
Exhibits are marked with AR stickers for identification purposes.
