The Museum of Military Glory, opened in 2000, is part of the Ufa Victory Memorial Complex. It holds a display, which reflects the events in chronological order, beginning with June 22nd, 1941. The final exhibit item is the diorama Wall of Reichstag as a symbol of the victory of the Soviet Army over Nazi invaders.
The display is located along the perimeter of the museum and includes hundreds of items related to the Great Patriotic War. These are personal belongings of soldiers, military uniforms and weapons, documents and trophies. Part of the display is dedicated to letters from the front, triangles, which were sent soldiers who had been mustered to the front from towns and villages of Bashkiria. Many of them never returned home from the war, and their memory is alive thanks to these triangular envelopes.
The museum also presents the history of military awards and the list of those, born in Bashkiria, who were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
